Ultracar GT1 Sports Club

The Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club is a unique platform for manufacturers to showcase their rarest and most high-tech creations in a professional motorsport environment, while private owners are invited to share their passion during an unforgettable weekend of on and off track experiences.

‘Super’ is no longer a suitable adjective to describe the latest generation of fast, exotic and rare road cars. Nor is it appropriate for the limited number of ‘halo’ machines produced by manufacturers as a showcase of their technological prowess unbound by the constraints of regulated motorsport.

Think Aston Martin Vulcan, Ferrari LaFerrari and FXX, McLaren P1 GTR, Bugatti Veyron SuperSport, Pagani Huayra, Porsche 918 or Koenigsegg One:1 and you have a list unrivalled in terms of power, performance and price tag.

These, then, are ultracars: the ultimate expression of limited-production and track-only automotive engineering, and the spiritual successors to SRO’s much-loved GT1 homologation specials of the late 1990s.

Bringing together these and other examples of an incredibly rare crop is the remit of the Blancpain Ultracar Sports Club, which provides owners with an opportunity to explore the limits of their race-influenced machines in a non-competitive environment.

Only the rarest and fastest ultracars built within the last 10 years will be considered for this year’s four events held at a combination of race circuits (during three Blancpain GT Series weekends) and a glamorous social occasion.

The finest hospitality befitting both the setting and clientele is included in a compact 24-hour package also comprising four 30-minute track sessions. It’s during these that each owner is invited to unlock their ultracar’s true potential and performance without the pressure of timed laps.

Ultracars are split into two categories depending on their original purpose: those built in strictly limited numbers for the road, such as the Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari, and their extreme track-only counterparts, like the Aston Martin Vulcan, designed beyond the realms of regulated performance.
